State of the City Technology Report - NSTA - CAP5 is Platinum Sponsor

CAP5 Technology Solutions is a Platinum Sponsor of Houston's 2009 State of the City Technology Report. This year's event (2nd annual) hosts 4 of Houston's Mayoral Candidates who will talk about Houston's Technology Future.

Each candidate will present a short review of Houston’s position as a world technology leader, and share their views on how, as Mayor, they would enhance and expand the city's technology initiatives. Of particular interest to Houstonians, for instance, is the Digital Inclusion Initiative and city-wide wireless

Candidates: Councilman Peter Brown, Former City Attorney Gene Locke, Lt. Col. Roy Morales (USAF-Ret.) & City Comptroller Annise Parker (CLICK HERE TO SEE ALL CANDIDATES)

We are also pleased to announce our emcee this year will be the ever-popular, witty, and knowledgeable Michael Garfield, The High-Tech Texan™, heard weekdays online on The 950 Radio Mojo from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., and on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Several dozen VIPs are being invited to attend this event, including members of Houston City Council, the Mayor’s Office, Houston Technology Center, the Houston Convention Bureau, NASA, the Texas Medical Center, and other technology organizations and companies across the city. You will want to be a part of this remarkable opportunity to network with some of the city’s top decision makers.

Local affiliates of the four major television networks also are invited to attend. F.T.L.O.C. Productions and the Entrepreneur Broadcasting Company (EBC) will have cameras roaming the exhibit hall conducting LIVE video streaming over the Internet. Exhibitors and prime sponsors will have the opportunity for filmed interviews in front of their display booths for corporate promotional purposes. As an added value, the nation's mayors are being invited to watch the event LIVE over the Internet on the computers at their respective City Halls across the country. That's over 1,200 cities with populations of 30,000 or more! That is some potential national audience!
